A great day at UPNM delivering our 43.5 GHz Antenna Measurement System (AMS) training!
We walked through how the AMS supports high-frequency R&D — from antennas to radar systems (RCS) — and demonstrated how 2D & 3D radiation patterns are captured through fully automated azimuth/elevation sweeps. Seeing the lecturers and engineering assistants dive into the measurements, ask questions, and explore the datasets made the session incredibly fulfilling.
Special thanks to Liew Voon Yen, Anritsu’s Field Technical Manager, for joining us and sharing deep insights on the ShockLine MS46122B/MS46322B VNAs, including best practices, calibration techniques, and how different product lines support antenna and RF testing.
Grateful to the UPNM team for the opportunity to contribute to the growing RF and antenna engineering ecosystem in Malaysia. Looking forward to more collaborations!
