IndexSAR specialize in manufacturing test equipment & testing wireless devices in the frequency range 300MHz – 6GHz. IndexSAR is a leader in SAR test reduction techniques and we are the first company to offer a commercial SAR testing product using 2D scan information combined with a depth reconstruction algorithm.

We are focused in two main radio testing areas: SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) testing, and the manufacture of body phantoms and human body tissue simulants for radio, Over The Air (OTA), performance testing.

Our SAR products include a cost effective standards compliant SAR testing system, a range of highly isotropic E-field probes for use in both air and tissue simulant liquids, and a unique high accuracy test kit for the measurement of the dielectric properties of liquids and gels.
For device and antenna performance testing we can supply a wide range of suitable phantoms and fixtures meeting the requirement of the CTIA Test Plan.

IXG-CTIA 3.x.x Tissue Simulant Gel – Broadband

CTIA Broadband Gel 690MHz to 6GHz
IXG-CTIA gel can be supplied prefilled in a IXB-030 SAM heads phantom, or existing SAM heads factory retro-filled.

CTIA TEST Plan version 3.x specifies target dielectric values of permittivity and conductivity that vary with frequency, these target values were based on those widely used in SAR testing standards. Originally, IndexSAR produced, and currently produces, a broadband liquid dielectric (690MHz-6GHz). It is possible for liquid dielectrics values to change by moving from container to container and inadvertently exposing it to contamination and/or evaporation. In response to a demand for sealed phantoms IndexSAR developed a recipe formulation to produced a gel material that with equal performance that of a liquid. IXG-CTIA gel can be supplied prefilled in a IXB-030 SAM heads phantom, or existing SAM heads factory retro-filled.
